“12 years ago I travelled to the UK and picked up a customer service job in the fashion industry. It was vital in helping me learn what customers preferred, and sparked my interest in tailoring. This interest soon turned to passion as I taught myself to alterate and tailor garments.

After 7 years of managerial responsibility, and more importantly 7 years of training, it was time. I left my job and opened my own place, which would soon become Bee’s Tailoring, of which Gold Alterations is a vital part.

Instead of burnout or fatigue, this move only accentuated my passion, as I fell in love with bespoke garments and even more tailoring practices”

Why We're Different.

  • Personal Touch – There is no quick stitch customer service. We give feedback and honesty in suggesting what may suit our clients, understanding their needs and listening to them.
  • No Job Too Small – We will take on any tailoring job, from buttons to buckles, lengthening jeans to alterating an entire suit. Most tailors will refuse certain jobs, but this is not what tailoring means to us.
  • Speed. It’s That Simple. – We realise in today’s day and age business is everywhere, and forgetfulness maybe more so. That’s why we offer express, next day, and next hour service free of charge, no appointment needed.
  • Quality Assurance – We were serious when we said we don’t do quick stitches for quick cash. Our garments are checked over by senior members of our team before they are sent out. Quality matters.
